Job Role: Power BI Trainee
Experience Required: 0-2 years
Location: Bangalore, India
Key Responsibilities:
- BI Dashboard Development Assist in the creation and support of enterprise-level BI dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Data Aggregation You’ll work with data from various sources to develop meaningful, aggregated insights.
- User Experience Focus Your work should not only be functional but also provide an excellent user experience by balancing performance and visual appeal.
- Collaboration You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP Data Warehouse, to understand data models and business requirements.
- Data Model Design Work with the data warehouse team to design models that align with the company’s reporting needs.
Eligibility:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Power BI Expertise Basic knowledge of Power BI and familiarity with M and DAX functions.
- SQL Knowledge You should be comfortable writing SQL queries and have a basic understanding of data warehouse design and database management.
- Problem-Solving Abilities An analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaboration Skills Ability to work efficiently in a global, virtual environment.
- Training Previous training in Power BI is a significant advantage.
- Data Modeling Familiarity with dimensional modeling techniques and OLAP.
- ETL Framework Basic understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
- Cloud Knowledge Any experience with Azure or cloud-based analytics is an added advantage.
- Programming A background in Python, Java, or any other programming languages is beneficial.
- Soft Skills Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage time effectively.
Working Hours:
The preferred working hours are 12 pm to 9 pm IST, but flexibility is required to work outside these hours when necessary.
