Role Overview: Graduate Engineer Trainee
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be an integral part of the software quality assurance team. The role combines test planning, automation, analysis, and collaborative product development, aimed at delivering best-in-class water solutions to a global audience.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for testing software products, identifying areas for improvement, and enhancing the reliability and efficiency of Xylem’s solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop functional, regression, and integration test plans
- Execute manual and automated tests; document outcomes
- Identify and track software defects through to resolution
- Ensure thorough test coverage and alignment with requirements
Test Automation:
- Design and execute automated test scripts for scalable coverage
- Debug and maintain automated testing systems
- Continuously optimize automation frameworks for improved performance
Test Management:
- Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to define test scope and priorities
- Maintain test environments and manage test data
- Monitor test schedules and report status
Analysis and Reporting:
- Provide clear insights based on test results
