Role and Responsibilities

Here’s what you can expect in the role

1. BOM Management
   • Create and maintain accurate BOMs, ensuring all materials from Siemens and third-party vendors are listed properly.
   • Keep BOMs updated as per the latest project requirements.
2. Collaboration
   • Work closely with different internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational workflows.
   • Maintain open lines of communication to address any BOM-related issues.
3. Material Sourcing
   • Utilize Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure Parts database for common materials or price quotes.
   • Ensure that material sourcing is optimized for cost-efficiency and quality.
4. SAP Integration
   • Insert and update Sourcing Approval Forms (SAF), ensuring accurate BOM integration into the SAP system.
   • Handle data entry and updates within SAP, ensuring smooth transitions from the design phase to implementation.
5. Automation and Fire Tasks
   • Enter materials into SAP based on deviation reports, making adjustments to align with sold materials or new project specifications.
