Role Overview
Micron Associate Data Science Engineer, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various data science tasks that are critical to the success of SMART manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
- Data Extraction and Processing One of your primary responsibilities will be extracting data from diverse databases using SQL and other query languages. You will also be expected to clean the data, identify outliers, and apply techniques to handle missing data effectively.
- Statistical Analysis and Machine Learning You will apply the latest mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, uncover patterns, and build predictive models. This will involve working with supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning techniques, as well as engaging in feature extraction and engineering.
- Web Application Development As part of the job, you will be expected to develop web applications that facilitate data analysis and machine learning tasks, making your work accessible and actionable for other team members.
- Cloud and API Development The role requires knowledge of cloud-based analytics and machine learning modeling. You will also need to build APIs to integrate different applications, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
Educational Background
- Degree Requirement A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering is required.
- Academic Performance A minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above is expected to ensure you have a solid foundational knowledge in the relevant technical fields.
Programming Proficiency in Python is essential. Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS 2.0, and Tableau will give you an added advantage. OOPS and Distributed Processing Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and experience with distributed processing tools like PySpark are highly desirable. Machine Learning Tools Proficiency with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and experience with statistical software for automating analyses will be key to your success in this role.
