Role Overview

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be involved in planning, designing, and engineering international network infrastructure. The role is focused on enabling seamless global connectivity through advanced telecom technologies including 4G, 3G, and 2G networks.

You will work closely with device and product teams to understand and implement requirements for global roaming and support the operational execution of large-scale telecom networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design & Planning: Design, plan, and engineer end-to-end international networks to support seamless global operations.

• Roaming Capability Development: Work with product and device teams to ensure compatibility and support for 4G, 3G, and 2G roaming functionality.

• Technical Requirement Validation: Validate technical requirements and design documents to support smooth global roaming—including AAA (authentication, authorization, accounting), billing, provisioning, and performance monitoring.

• Proposal Preparation Support: Assist in preparing technical proposals for new network deployments, upgrades, and investments. Collaborate with business units to provide insights for decision-making and budgeting.

• Vendor Performance Evaluation: Help evaluate service providers based on network performance, coverage, and capabilities.

• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Analyze network routes and performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to network optimization.

• Root Cause Analysis: Identify underlying causes of technical issues and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Education and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) is required

• Ideal for freshers from the 2024 or 2025 batch with a passion for telecom and digital technologies

Required Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you should bring a mix of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills:

• Basic understanding of telecom technologies, including 4G, 3G, and 2G networks
