INFRO IS HIRING: QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST (0-1 YEAR EXP)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the functional testing of our products, participating throughout the entire software development lifecycle. This role includes reviewing requirements, performing impact analysis, and conducting testing efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage defects, compile test results, and communicate issues, risks, and status updates to ensure the solutions meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a passion for testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in various types of testing, including functional testing, results validation, regression testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
- Review and analyze design and mapping documents created by the development team.
- Derive test cases from business requirement documents and inputs from the development team.
- Conduct peer reviews of test cases to ensure high standards and coverage.
- Coordinate with peers (both onsite and offshore) in development and testing teams to enhance test coverage.
- Justify defects found to the development team and provide sufficient inputs for reproduction.
- Write SQL scripts for data validation.
- Adhere to all processes defined for achieving excellence, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Communicate with product teams and developers regarding status, issues, and risks in a timely manner. Identify, mitigate, and drive issues and risks to resolution.
Eligibility:
- Educational Background: BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc
- Experience: 0-1 years in manual testing and SQL.
- Completed a Testing Course and certification from a reputed institution OR a minimum of 1 year of experience in functional testing.
- Knowledge in System Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Good database skills with the ability to understand and write complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with test management tools like TestLink or QC.
- Knowledge of agile methodology.
- Experience with bug management tools like Quality Center, Jira, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with functional automation test tools (such as QTP or Selenium) is a plus.
- Exposure to SQL and REST API testing.
- Exposure to SCM/Logistics domain is a plus.
- Strong conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills.
- Familiarity with Test Management and Defect Management tools.
