Job Role: Management Trainee – Retail Banking
Genpact is currently inviting applications for the position of Management Trainee / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager within its Capital Market – Retirement domain. This is a critical role that requires solid domain knowledge in retirement benefits, middle and back-office operations, and client servicing.

Responsibilities
As a Management Trainee in the Retail Banking vertical, you will be involved in the end-to-end process related to retirement benefits and capital market operations, including:

Understanding and applying retirement plan regulations
-
Managing account origination, funds servicing, and reconciliation
-
Overseeing service delivery SLAs and implementing quality review mechanisms
-
Conducting performance reviews, career coaching, and mentorship
-
Collaborating with onshore teams via regular updates and alignment meetings
-
Designing and executing improvement strategies to increase process efficiency
-
Preparing and maintaining weekly/monthly dashboards for performance reporting
-
Driving employee engagement initiatives and talent development sessions
This role demands a mix of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a keen business mindset to drive performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related field

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Proven experience in retirement benefits and capital markets
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
-
4+ years of domain experience in capital markets or banking operations

Experience managing teams of 10+ members
-
Skills in coaching, performance management, and team engagement
-
Experience in process improvement, client interaction, and quality assurance
-
High energy, self-motivated, and deadline-driven mindset
