Role Overview
As a Business Analyst – SQL Developer, you’ll be at the heart of our analytics and business intelligence ecosystem. You’ll use your SQL expertise to drive the transformation of raw data into powerful insights. From managing complex queries to ETL processes and developing QlikView dashboards, your contributions will be critical to operational success.
This is a hybrid role combining business acumen, SQL development, and data visualization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that matter.
Key Responsibilities
Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

Write complex T-SQL queries using joins, subqueries, and optimization techniques in MS SQL Server

Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations from MS Access databases to SQL Server
-
Design, create, and modify tables, fields, constraints, and data models
-
Develop and fine-tune stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers
-
Create and manage SQL Server Jobs for automated data processing
-
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks
-
Design and build interactive dashboards using QlikView
-
Design and maintain data models following Star or Snowflake schema patterns
-
Optimize dashboard performance by efficiently using QVDs, variables, and access controls
-
Apply basic knowledge of Section Access for securing QlikView applications
-
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used for critical business decisions
Required Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you’ll need:

A degree in B.Tech/MBA/MSc/MCA

Experience writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries
-
Solid understanding of database design, ETL processes, and data modeling
-
Hands-on experience working with MS SQL Server, MS Access, and database automation tools
-
Familiarity with BI tools, especially QlikView
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Clear verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following will give you a competitive edge:

Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Reporting Services (SSRS)

Experience working with large datasets and creating custom dashboards with QVD layers
-
Ability to manage Section Access in QlikView for data-level security

Exposure to business domains such as operations, financial services, or supply chain
