As an Engineer Associate, you will be involved in optimizing manufacturing processes, from machining and assembly to testing. You will work closely with supervisors, engineers, and production teams to ensure high-quality output, cost-effective solutions, and continuous improvements in operations.

What You Will Do
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct manufacturing operations for machining, assembly, and testing

  • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing methods using lean and Six Sigma principles

  • Provide hands-on engineering support to troubleshoot technical issues and keep production on schedule

  • Participate in capital equipment planning, cost justification, acquisition, and successful implementation

  • Develop CNC programs to support new product lines and customer-specific requirements

  • Ensure the availability of necessary tools, fixtures, and training to keep operations running smoothly

  • Support safety and environmental standards across all processes

  • Monitor and track capital project timelines and budget adherence

  • Recommend new tools and technologies to improve quality and throughput

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and initiative

What You Need to Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

  • Up to two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, safety procedures, and technical documentation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with CNC programming, modern tooling systems, and manufacturing best practices

  • A working knowledge of advanced mathematics including geometry, trigonometry, and statistics

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to solve problems using data-driven analysis

Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving projects

  • Prior experience in a machining or manufacturing operations environment

  • Ability to train others and maintain a skilled and flexible workforce

  • Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations as they relate to manufacturing
