Role Overview: Associate Software Engineer
As an Associate Software Engineer in the DET (Digital Engineering and Technology) team, your role will involve:

Understanding the software development life cycle and applying it to real-world projects

Working with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or .Net
-
Gaining hands-on experience in data analytics and working with databases like SQL, Oracle, or Teradata
-
Supporting solution development in areas such as full-stack engineering, cloud-native apps, automation, and data transformation
-
Participating in agile projects and contributing to discussions and brainstorming sessions

Collaborating with global teams and aligning deliverables with EY’s high-quality standards
What You Need to Bring
EY is looking for self-driven, detail-oriented professionals who are ready to grow and evolve in a fast-paced tech consulting environment. Here’s what you need to qualify:

Bachelor’s degree in BE or BTech, specifically in IT, Computer Science, or related circuit branches

A minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks in academic qualifications

No active academic backlogs

Understanding of software development fundamentals and coding best practices

Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or .Net

Knowledge of database concepts and proficiency in at least one query language

An internship or project experience in a relevant tech domain is a strong advantage
