Join Amazon’s Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) team as a DevOps Engineer, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing mission-critical services that drive Amazon’s global fulfillment network. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the performance of highly available systems and services.

  • Automate operational tasks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, program managers, and support teams.

  • Lead and participate in incident management processes, root cause analysis, and long-term solutions.

  • Contribute to custom tool development and support internal product and infrastructure innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in software development or technical support.

  • Strong scripting skills in modern programming/scripting languages.

  • Hands-on experience with system debugging, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Proven ability to document technical findings and resolve complex issues.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.

  • Experience with distributed and enterprise-grade applications.

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web-based services.

  • Familiarity with databases, Java, and JavaScript.

  • Strong focus on metrics, operational performance, and system availability.

  • Exceptional communication skills and cross-functional team collaboration.
