Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do as a member of Deloitte’s payroll team:
- Manage onboarding date changes in payroll dashboards
- Process employee lifecycle updates (transfers, exits, salary changes)
- Support MIS functions for headcount reconciliation, payroll runs, and annual compensation cycles
- Coordinate new hire data inputs and separation processes
- Handle salary continuations, collect dues from exiting employees
- Process full and final settlements under strict deadlines
- Liaise with HR operations, general ledger teams, and FTP/Payroll departments
- Identify and flag discrepancies in HR data
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and HR
- Ensure compliance with PII (Personally Identifiable Information) guidelines
You’ll be expected to follow defined procedures and show a strong understanding of payroll processes, accuracy in data entry, and proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Any graduate (preferably finance-related fields)
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience
- Basic to advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong data entry speed: 45-50 WPM, 7000 KSPH with <5% error rate
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A strong commitment to data privacy and ethical standards
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Preferred:
- Knowledge of SAP HR, payroll systems, or accounting software
- Experience with payroll processing, MIS reporting, and analysis
- Understanding of business operations, internal controls, and financial terminology
- Ability to identify and solve process or data anomalies
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and client-driven environment
