Adobe is now hiring a Computer Scientist I – UI Developer to join the Adobe Mix Modeler team in Bangalore. About the Role

As a Computer Scientist I – UI, you will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to build dynamic, user-centric web applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an agile, high-velocity environment, and is excited to deliver high-performance features to real users.

You will take ownership of key components and features, from ideation to deployment. Whether it’s designing user interactions or ensuring accessibility and responsiveness, you will help build scalable, cloud-native web applications that align with Adobe’s vision for intuitive digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, modern web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS

  • Manage the full lifecycle of software development, from design and development to testing, deployment, and iteration

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build scalable and intuitive interfaces

  • Contribute to shared UI components and libraries, ensuring consistency across Adobe products

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

  • Continuously seek ways to improve performance, usability, accessibility, and the overall user experience

  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions

  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or Puppeteer

  • Work with RESTful APIs and GraphQL to fetch and manipulate data

  • Actively participate in a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience developing modern frontend web applications

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS

  • Excellent understanding of frontend architecture and scalable web application design

  • Experience with cloud-native development and large-scale production deployments

  • A strong focus on performance, responsive design, accessibility, and usability

  • Proven debugging, testing, and optimization skills

  • Experience in UI testing frameworks and writing quality test coverage

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL integrations

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
