Role Overview: Software Engineer III – Fullstack
In this role, you will work across the full technology stack to develop secure, robust, and scalable systems. You’ll collaborate with other engineers, product teams, and leadership to solve high-stakes challenges in Google Cloud Security Operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Write clean, efficient code for large-scale software systems or tools.

Participate in design reviews, collaborating with peers and stakeholders to determine the best technical solutions.

Conduct code reviews to uphold Google’s best practices in style, performance, testability, and maintainability.

Maintain and enhance system documentation or educational materials based on user feedback and system updates.

Triage and resolve issues related to code, system health, network impacts, and service quality.

Continuously improve system performance, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++, Angular).

Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, either through academic study or industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3+ years of fullstack development experience.

Experience with diagnosing system issues, debugging, and performance tuning.

Exposure to software testing, system reliability engineering, or scalable cloud systems.

Familiarity with building accessible and inclusive applications.

Ability to lead or participate in cross-functional technical discussions and initiatives.
