What You’ll Be Doing
As an intern in the Marketing/Data Analytics team, you will work on real-time data-driven projects that influence strategic business decisions and user engagement metrics.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Query Databases: Use SQL to run complex queries on platforms such as Google BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, or similar.
- Scripting: Write scalable scripts to fetch and manipulate data via APIs.
- Analyze User Behavior: Work with large datasets to uncover insights about how users interact with ShareChat platforms.
- Identify Trends & Patterns: Use critical thinking to identify trends in user behavior that can lead to actionable strategies.
- Maintain Accuracy: Pay close attention to detail and ensure precision in all data analysis and reporting.
Who You Are – Eligibility & Skills
To succeed in this role, you should bring a passion for analytics, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience using BI tools like Superset, Redash, or Metabase
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or R
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, JavaScript, or ETL tools
- Strong command over data reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to process and interpret large datasets
- Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and segmentation techniques
