Eligibility:
- Educational Background bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer is essential.
- Technical Skills
- Advanced programming skills, particularly in automation systems and databases.
- Familiarity with programming languages, especially Java.
- Experience with the Karate framework and Gherkin language is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Testing & Verification Plan and prioritize testing activities. Work closely with the Design team to establish verification protocols.
- Automation Suggest and implement automated software test procedures using the Karate framework and Gherkin language. Prepare automation scripts and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Bug Tracking Identify weaknesses in the software application, track bugs, and investigate their causes.
- Test Plans & Reports Create detailed test plans and cases, utilizing Gherkin syntax for clarity. Prepare comprehensive test reports.
- Regression Testing Conduct regression testing as needed to ensure ongoing software quality.
- Metrics & Monitoring Monitor assurance metrics and process results to maintain high standards of software quality.
