Qualifications
Required:
- Strong mathematical skills
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Superb time management and detail orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Excel and NetSuite
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience in accounts receivable
- Experience in driving process improvement
Responsibilities
- Invoicing & Documentation Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation before payment.
- Accounts Receivable Management Maintain records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and discrepancies are cleared.
- Cash Management Perform daily cash management duties, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
- Collections Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
- Analytical Support Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R for management to understand collection efforts better.
- Team Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting.
