FLIPKART GRID 6.0 IS HIRING: SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TRACK
Eligibility:
-
- Students pursuing B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, M.S., or related engineering programs across all engineering colleges in India.
- Eligible batches: 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028.
- The batch of 2024 is not eligible.
- Team Formation: Teams of 1 to 3 members.
- Cross-specialization and cross-campus teams are allowed.
- Teams can be formed across different academic years.
- One person cannot be a member of more than one team.
- Any deviation from these rules will result in immediate disqualification.
Competition Stages:
The Software Development Track comprises three elimination levels designed to test your technical, analytical, and ideation skills, culminating in the National Finale where finalists present their solutions to Flipkart’s domain experts.
- Level 1 – E-Commerce & Tech Quiz:
- All registered teams must take an online quiz.
- Each team member must attempt the quiz.
- Team scores are based on the average marks of all members.
- Rankings are determined by accuracy, speed, and start time.
- The quiz covers E-Commerce Trivia and Technology (Tech awareness, tech stack, and computer science fundamentals).
- Teams progress to the next level based on performance.
- Level 2 – Submission Round:
- Shortlisted teams from Level 1 will submit solutions for their chosen problem statement.
- Submissions include a functional proof of concept, demo video, and code.
- The submission window is open until the specified deadline.
- Teams are evaluated based on their submissions to move on to the next level.
- Level 3 – The National Finale:
- Finalists present their solutions to Flipkart’s panel of domain experts.
Rewards and Prizes
- Attractive Prizes:
- Winners receive EGVs worth INR 1,00,000*.
- First Runners-Up receive EGVs worth INR 75,000*.
- Certificates of merit for Level 1 qualifying teams and finalists.
- Top teams from Level 2 get a chance to be part of the hiring process for internships and full-time tech roles at Flipkart.
- Finalists get a Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) for software tech roles (Internship/full-time).
- Career Opportunities:
- Internship Stipend: INR 1,00,000 per month.
- SDE-1 Role Compensation: INR 32 LPA.
