AMAZON IS HIRING: CLOUD SUPPORT ENGINEER (+2 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

Eligibility:
  • Experience: 2+ years in CI/CD or technical support.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong skills in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in DevOps/Deployment, Orchestration Management, and/or Configuration Management.
  • CI Technology: Familiarity with tools like Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Web & Application Servers: Experience with technologies like Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Glassfish, JBoss, Puma, Passenger, IIS.
  • Scripting/Development: Skills in Python, Node.js/JavaScript, PowerShell or C# (.NET), Ruby, Golang.
  • Deployment Lifecycle: Understanding the complete lifecycle from design to deployment, with experience in Kubernetes or containerization.
  • Virtualization & Containerization: Knowledge of hypervisors and container technologies.
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Linux: Experience with distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, and RedHat, or any Unix flavors.
  • Container Ecosystem: Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and containerization.
  • Networking Protocols: Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and related protocols.
  • Troubleshooting: Proven experience in troubleshooting Linux OS and networking issues.
  • Cloud & Virtual Infrastructure: Familiarity with virtual machines, hypervisors, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Scripting: Experience with any scripting language.
  • Automation & Version Control: Familiarity with tools like Chef, Puppet, Git, etc.

  • Critical Event Management: Drive communication and coordination during critical events.
  • Process Improvement: Lead projects aimed at enhancing support-related processes.
