MSCI : PYTHON DEVELOPER (0-3 YRS EXP)
Your key responsibilities
The candidate will learn about our clients’ needs and test the implementation in our tools that fulfil those needs. The members of our team have opportunities to contribute to a broad set of roles including studying functional, non-functional and analytical specifications, developing test plans and test cases, verifying formulas, implementing and using automated test tools. The candidate will be exposed daily to the following topics. Knowledge of these areas is not required. However, a strong motivation to learn is a must.
- Automation of analytics validation in python
- Writing comparison modules in python
- Azure pipelines and repos
- Using SQL to interact with MS and Oracle DBs.
- GIT
- Active participation in an Agile software development team
- Risk management
- Financial Instruments pricing and valuation
Eligibility:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), quantitative finance, Investment analysis and risk management, or any other highly quantitative subject.
- 0 -3 years of experience in technical profile.
- Some experience with any of the following languages: Java, Python,
- Good analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong written and oral proficiency in English
- Willingness to learn about capital markets
- Open to learn new, cutting-edge technologies.
